Potassium Permanganate (KMnO4)
Dark purple granular or needle shaped or flow sand-like crystals with metallic sheen. Soluble in water, decomposed by alcohol and peroxide. Powerful oxidizer. Contacting, rubbing, or colliding with organic materials, it may cause burning or explosion.
Potassium Hydroxide (KOH)
Grey, bluish green or pale purple solid. It is deliquescent and absorbs water vapor from the air. It forms potassium carbonate upon the absorption of carbon dioxide.
Chloroacetic Acid (CH2ClCOOH)
Pale white solid with greenish color. Easily absorbs moisture and carbon dioxide from the air. Strong corrosive substance; and evolves heat when the solid is dissolving in water.
