| Properties: | An ash-coloured, blue green or pale purple solid. Easily absorbs humidity and carbon dioxide in the air to turn into potassium carbonate. A strong corrosive substance which releases heat when absorbed in water and turns the solution alkaline. |
| Uses: | Used in the manufacturing of potassium salts, electroplating, printing and dyeing, compound fertiliser, synthetic fibers, plastics etc. |
| Package: | Solid blocks are packed in iron drums (200 kg net). Flakes are packed in iron drums (100 kg net) or a polypropylene woven bag with a polyethylene plastic bag inside (25 kg or 50 kg net). Liquids are packed in iron drums. |
